General Information
Supplier Quality Management is entrusted with the strategy of the complete electronics supplier portfolio at Schaeffler.
The mandatory internship must be completed in the field of active semiconductor components. Our product portfolio in this area includes diodes, MOSFETs, SmartPower through to SIC and standard components such as uControllers and LIN / CAN / Ethernet interfaces. The strategic focus is clearly in the field of electromobility and the new challenges for active components in order to remain competitive. As a mandatory intern in our global team, you will learn the basics of supplier quality management, understand how to correctly interpret and classify data, and work on exciting projects for the mobility of tomorrow.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Apply a structured methodology and support change management and component introduction activities for Electronic components.
- Using change management processes and tools to support the integration and engagement with change management principles within Schaeffler plants.
- Close collaboration with the Projects Managers/SQM CI/SQM SP to support change management activities into the existing project plans.
- Alignment and communication of changes into the affected Cluster.
- Organization and participation in supplier meetings, quality improvement programs and quality negotiations.
- Monthly KPIs reporting support.
- Organization and participation in supplier meetings, quality improvement programs and quality negotiations.
- Cooperation in the intercultural and globally networked Quality team.
- Data analysis/ maintenance in component management and audit management.
Your Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Technical Engineering Degree – Bachelor/Master (e.g. Electronics/Electrical field, Semiconductors, Industrial Engineering).
- Good interpersonal and communication skills to interact with different levels of people, including suppliers.
- Ability to work independently with a proactive mindset;
- Good English language skills is a mandatory competence.
- Microsoft Office knowledge and understanding (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
