The Opportunity
The Accounts Payable Intern will support the AP team in processing supplier invoices, maintaining accurate financial records, and ensuring timely payments. This internship provides hands-on experience in finance operations, exposure to ERP systems, and the opportunity to learn end-to-end AP processes within an international organization.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Assist in the review and processing of supplier invoices under the supervision of the AP team.
- Help match invoices with purchase orders and delivery notes (3-way match).
- Support data entry and validation activities in the company’s ERP system (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
- Assist with vendor account reconciliations and identifying discrepancies.
- Prepare simple reports and status updates related to pending or processed invoices.
- Communicate with suppliers or internal stakeholders to clarify invoice-related issues.
- Help maintain accurate and organized digital documentation.
- Participate in internal trainings, team meetings, and improvement activities.

- Currently enrolled in university studies (Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related fields).
- Basic understanding of accounting principles is a plus.
- Good attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Basic knowledge of Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas).
- Italian – intermediate level (spoken and written).
- No prior experience required; training will be provided.
- Curiosity and motivation to develop in a finance or operations environment.
- Responsible, organized, and able to follow instructions.
- Proactive attitude and desire to understand processes end-to-end.
