Join our team as an PV Procurement – internship 6 months!
Are you ready to kickstart your career in procurement? We’re looking for a dynamic and motivated individual to join us for a 12-month internship as an Indirect Buyer. You’ll be responsible for purchasing products and services in the Purchased Services & IT categories (T&E, HR, Company Car).
What You’ll Do
Boost Competitiveness: Drive cost reductions and enhance our GBE’s edge in collaboration with the Commodity organization.
Strategic Support: Contribute to Commodity panels strategy within your GBE/Region by:
- Achieving productivity goals
- Reviewing supplier performance and tracking action plans
- Providing feedback on your scope of activity
Project Leadership: Act as the Project Buyer for your scope:
- Lead and execute supplier selection for NPI and VE/Resourcing projects in line with the commodity panel strategy
- Own project deliverables for sourced components, ensuring cost, APQP, milestones, and compliance
- Support TEFS and suggest resourcing opportunities
Productivity Actions: Execute VE, resourcing, and logistics productivity actions in line with AOP requirements, collaborating with the Commodity organization.
Supplier Management: Handle post-SOP engineering changes and secure first-year savings after award.
Operations Support
- Collect capacity data from suppliers
- Address logistics, capacity, and quality issues as the first sourcing interface for plant supply chain and quality
- Validate and negotiate charge-back amounts
- Implement mitigation action plans and define first-level actions for gap closure
- Support trade, compliance, and sustainability information collection
What We Need
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Economics or Business Administration
- Language Skills: Advanced English proficiency.
