Aspen Institute Romania is seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Public Programs & Events Intern.

Aspen Institute Romania is currently accepting applications for internships in the fields of Public Programs & Events. Each internship lasts 6 months, with a flexible schedule. The internship is remunerated.
Required Qualifications:
- Recent graduate of a BA or MA program in social sciences, economics, communication and public relations, or other relevant fields;
- Excellent command of both Romanian and English (written and spoken);
- Strong proficiency in using online platforms for meetings and audio-video events (e.g., Teams, Zoom);
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable managing evolving tasks and responsibilities;
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize effectively;
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and teamwork abilities;
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting the Aspen team in implementing the programs of the Aspen Institute Romania;
- Collecting and entering data into extensive databases;
- Preparing relevant information for public policy programs, conference materials, and preparatory stages of policy events;
- Creating, updating, and/or archiving files and records;
- Providing logistical support for event organization, including drafting invitations, communicating with participants, and managing complex calendars across multiple time zones;
- Assisting in the planning and execution of activities and conferences held both in-person and online;
- Supporting the continuous updating of databases with speakers, vendors, stakeholders, participants, and other actors involved in programs.

The Institute will review all applications and invite a selected number of candidates for an interview, which will be conducted in both Romanian and English.
