In this role, you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Your role and responsibilities
- Assist in building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports that support business decision-making.
- Support data preparation, cleaning, and transformation activities for reporting purposes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and translate them into actionable data visualizations.
Required education
Bachelor’s Degree
Required technical and professional expertise
- ✔ Have a degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field.
- ✔ Have a strong interest in data modeling, data analysis, business intelligence, reporting and ERP systems (SAP knowledge is a plus).
- ✔ Possess advanced knowledge of Excel and databases (experience with SQL, Python, or Power BI is a plus).
- ✔ Are quick learners, problem solvers, and eager to work in a data-driven environment.
- ✔ Have good analytical and communication skills to interpret data and present insights effectively.
Preferred technical and professional experience
- BI Software Familiarity: Interest in Business Intelligence software programs, such as Oracle, Tableau, IBM Cognos, or Microsoft Power BI, with a willingness to learn and explore their applications.
- MS Office Proficiency: Basic understanding of MS Office, Excel, and Access, with curiosity to learn and apply these tools in a business setting.
- Emerging BI Skills: Curiosity about developing dashboards and reports, with a willingness to learn and explore BI tools and methodologies
